Happy Easter

Baskets were found this morning. Included with the chocolate bunnies and Peeps were bags of Beef Jerkey, duck tape (camo for Andy, hot pink zebra for Beth) along with Legos for Beth and another airsoft gun for Andy.  Nothing says Easter like a gun.

We are going to have Ham on the grill for supper. Beth and I made bunny bread.

Looks like it should be a nice day. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Update on Turkey Hunt

Birthdays, Easter, Hunting Oh My

We celebrated Tim's birthday last night - a day late. It gave us time to make an Angel Food Cake for him. I think homemade is so much better - but what a mess.  The kids started to help, but got board with all of the sifting. We did have Lobster as well - Andy decided on the menu.  (or I should say Tim and Andy had Lobster) Good times.

We dyed Easter Eggs yesterday. Andy did one, Beth did three and then we just dyed the rest. I see a new era for the Wallner Family where these types of activities don't hold their attention.

The guys are out Turkey Hunting today. It's Youth Weekend. We had a snaffoo with Andy's license - it hadn't come in the mail. Nothing but a trip to the DNR office couldn't fix.

Beth had a friend sleepover. They are having a good time.

I have been spending hours getting the Ice Skating Campu Brochure together. I tried to open it last night and it won't open. I'm sure many of you heard my scream.  I have a couple of options at work that may bring it up.  Otherwise, I'll have to start over - moan, groan, ugh!

Spring Break

As my spring break comes to an end, the kids' spring break will start. The kids are off for a week plus starting tomorrow. I have enjoyed my time home. It has been relaxing as well as productive. The weather has been wonderful!

Tim has tomorrow off so that we can do something fun with the kids. We're planning on going to the Kalahari dry park for the day.  We're going to the water park next weekend, so we didn't feel like another weekend of swimming. Plus, my new suit hasn't come yet.  Can't go swimming without a new suit. :-)

Beth has been buckling down at school and really doing well. We had a blip of bad grades for awhile. She has now gotten perfect scores on her spelling tests for three weeks in a row!  She's also three-fourths of the way through the Hunger Games. I want to take the kids this weekend. However, I want her to finish the book before we go.

We are now focused on Soccer. Both kids seem to really like it and it's a great sport for them. Games won't happen until May, so we aren't running crazy yet.
